Ashley Thompson McCarthy is the Group Chief Executive, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Obsidian Achernar, one of Africa’s leading investment firms that has brokered historical trade volumes of $7bn. Mr Maccarthy has been involved in all phases of OA’s development since its founding in 2013. The firm has secured prominence across the African Continent, Europe and North America.
Mr. MacCarthy leads all OAG group businesses on the executive and strategic level. He develops the firm’s strategy, embodies and leverages firm-specific and industry knowledge to develop, articulate and execute the firm’s strategic vision.
