About the Role

We are urgently seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer with deep expertise in payment systems security, application security, and cloud security. You will be responsible for securing APIs, backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• •Design and enforce security controls for payment systems and backend services.
• •Ensure PCI-DSS compliance and secure cardholder data handling.
• •Implement application security best practices (OWASP Top 10).
• •Secure APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
• •Manage cloud security in AWS (IAM, KMS, VPC, WAF).
• •Ensure data encryption at rest and in transit.
• •Implement threat detection, monitoring, and incident response (SIEM/SOC).
• •Perform secure code reviews and threat modeling.
• •Integrate DevSecOps tools (SAST, SCA, DAST).
• •Secure Docker containers and Kubernetes environments.
• •Conduct vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
• •Support compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2).

Requirements

• •Strong experience in payment systems or cloud security.
• •Deep understanding of PCI-DSS.
• •Experience securing APIs and microservices.
• •Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS preferred).
• •Experience with DevSecOps pipelines.
• •Knowledge of container and Kubernetes security.
• •Familiarity with compliance and risk management frameworks.

Nice to Have

• •Experience in fintech or regulated industries.
• •Incident response and SOC operations experience.
• •Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS Security).
